MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Acceptable file formats: CLEVER is a PC platform environment.
All digital ads are considered press-ready — errors or changes to files following delivery will incur additional charges. Reader spread advertising must be supplied as single pages. Acceptable media formats: CD or DVD.

General requirements: 250 line screen -- placed images should be 300 DPI, sized to final printed size. Do not enlarge images greater than 20% in your ad-building application, or quality will be compromised.

Adobe Illustrator version 9.0 or greater: Save file as an EPS with all images/links embeded. If not included with the file, all type must be outlined.

Photoshop version 6.0 or greater: EPS format saved as Binary. TIFF format saved as PC without LZW compression. Please render all type and flatten layered files.

Adobe Acrobat PDF version 4.0 or greater: All PDFs must be created with Acrobat Distiller.
